Would you help a friend?

Imagine that you and your friend were running away from two strangers in the middle of the night. Your friend is lagging behind and trips and the strangers are closing in. Would you go over to your friend and help him/her out?
You probably would. At least I hope so!

Well, what if the strangers were death and hell? Your friend trips, and sprains his ankle, and you are the only help he sees. I certainly hope that you will help him by witnessing and letting him know of the Salvation received through Christ.

What if both you and your friend tripped and sprained your ankles? Who would be able to help you in the middle of the night when everybody is sleeping? Would you get caught by the two strangers? Or would you immediately gain strength and get back up? You can receive strength and help from God. Just call out to Him, confess and repent of your sins, and accept Him as your Savior and He will throw you the life line of Salvation!
